New Dash cub unveiled
BOON Siew Honda has introduced its latest Dash 125 cub available in three variants.
The Dash 125 S with single disc brake is priced at RM5,999, Dash 125 R with double disc brakes at RM6,299 and the Dash 125 Repsol Edition with double disc brakes at RM6,499. All prices mentioned are recommended showroom price with 0% GST excluding of road tax, insurance and registration.
The new cub comes with a twoyear or 20,000km manufacturing warranty (whichever comes first) as well as four colour options of Pearl Magellanic Black, Vivacity Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Respsol Edition.
In terms of equipment, the cub features new LED headlights, leg shield, rim lining, mirror design as well as a new speedometer. A 4.0-litre fuel tank feeds the 124.89cc single-cylinder four-stroke single-overhead cam engine to provide 9.86hp and 9.54Nm of torque. Transmission is a four-speed manual-type.
It rides on 17-inch wheels with front 70/90 and rear 80/90 motorcycle tyres with stopping power coming from front disc and rear drum (S) or front and rear disc (R and Repsol Edition).
At the launch, the company also announced that it has appointed twotime Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) winner Zaqhwan Zaidi - the first Malaysian to have competed in the All Japan Road Race Championship (AJRRC), as the ambassador for the new cub.

The Dash will be the new racing machine of the Honda One-Make Race in the Malaysian Cub Prix.
The previous Honda Wave Alpha Challenge for the Honda Wave Alpha cub bike will now be known as the Honda Dash 125 Challenge in line with the migration to the new Dash 125 cub model.
