Innovative pathway to education excellence
TAR UC ensures schoolleavers are prepared for the industry or academia right from the point they join TAR UC until they complete their tertiary education.
The academic pathway there is structured to equip students with necessary skills and knowledge, integrating them seamlessly into the industry or assume higher studies at postgraduate level.
After SPM, school-leavers can choose two pathways, depending on their career aspiration and ambition.
Those who prefer to prepare themselves academically for undergraduate studies may start with a pre-university programme.
TAR UC provides foundation and A-Levels pre-university programmes that equip school-leavers with the solid grounding for undergraduate studies.
Its foundation programme is a year’s intensive programme aimed at preparing students for TAR UC’s bachelor degree programmes.
The A-Levels is a one-and-a-half year pre-university programme that builds a strong foundation for students to advance to bachelor degree programmes in TAR UC or other universities worldwide.
Upon completion of both foundation programmes, students can proceed to enter Year 1 in TAR UC’s three-year or four-year bachelor degree programme.
There are close to 50 bachelor degree programmes offered at TAR UC that are highly regarded by industries for academic rigour and high standards.
Another pathway is through TAR UC’s diploma programmes, for school-leavers with the direction of what they want to pursue in their career.
TAR UC offers more than 50 specialised diploma programmes delivered by seven faculties: Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Built Environment, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities and Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries.
