A lightweight, compact notebook for business

-

The latest addition to Toshiba’s business PC offering, the Portege Z30-e, has been engineered for mobility and reliability to serve today’s increasingly mobile workforce.

“The Portege Z30-e was developed to help keep businesses moving forward,” says Toshiba Singapore senior manager of product strategy, Wong Wai Meng.

Weighing just 1.2kg, it has a magnesium chassis and a 13.3in non-reflective screen that’s claimed to eliminate glare even under bright sunlight so users can work wherever the day may take them.

The slim and sleek notebook can be configured to run on Intel’s 8th gen Core processor and use SSD (solid state drive) for storage for the best performance.

It has three USB 3.0 ports, a hDMI port, a gigabit ethernet port and the battery is claimed to last 18 hours on a single charge.

Managing the Portege Z30-e is made easy with the built-in Intel Active Management Technology (AMT), as it allows IT personnels to update the notebook at any time.

The Portege Z30-e is also designed to withstand the pressures of professional life and is backed up by halt (highly Accelerated Life Test), which simulates approximately three years of wear and tear.

The tests by independent German institute, TUV Rheinland also includes drop, spill and pressure testing.

The Portege Z30-e will be available from the third quarter. For product enquiries, email b2b@ toshiba.com.sg.
