Duo Romance, an aerial act, features the award-winning couple from the Romanian State Circus Globus. Their acts combine sensuality with just the right amount of risk – creating an unforgettable “love story” in the air.

Another couple, Tatiana and Igor from Russia, are looking forward to amaze the Malaysian audience with their knife-throwing act. When Tatiana turns around on a rotating platform, he will throw the knives at her! What fate will befall her? Other acts are: violinist and songstress, aerial ring, hand stand, pole act, clown, diabolo and Russian bar.

The Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Kwang Tung Association’s youth section, the parent association of the Kwang Tung Dance Company, is putting up this dance show. It will feature 11 dance performances in mixed genres. The dances will be performed by schoolchildren. There will also be three guest performances by the Dance Department from the University of Malaya’s Cultural Centre, Hoops Percussion Academy and the Kwang Tung Dance Company. Abhyasa Academy led by Lavanya Sankar will be presenting a dance drama, Mokshadayini Gangeh, with seven dancers. The annual dance festival is presented by the Malaysia Bharatanatyam Dance Association in collaboration with the Indian Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur. With over 1,000 performances around the world, spanning 35 years, Lavanya Sankar (from India) is among the most eminent Bharatanatyam dancers of her generation today.
