Klang Proton dealer gets 4S status

-

VANTAGE Speed has upgraded its 2S outlet into a 4S centre to provide better customer sales and service experience in Klang township.

The outlet in an industrial area, along the town’s second main road, spans 2,418 sq metres.

It has 14 service bays, 10 body and paint bays, and can cater to 10 vehicles in the showroom area.

The outlet in Jalan Kebun features a coffee area, kids’ area, free WiFi and a lounge area with seating capacity for 80 customers.

Vantage Speed director Tee Boon Kee said the 4S centre has welltrained staff and is situated in a strategic location.

“The 4S centre will allow for deeper customer engagement,” he said, adding that it is expected to show more than a 50% increase in sales and service throughput.

The latest Proton 4S centre was opened on Sunday by Proton CEO Dr Li Chunrong. Vantage Speed also operates a 1S outlet in Setia Alam.

“Our outlet upgrades are on track,” said Dr Li. “Proton is in a very good position to redeem itself in the market. We are confident that we could achieve approval upgrades of 109 outlets by October, or maybe even earlier than expected.”

In a separate development, Proton said it had approved 12 dealers for 3S and 4S status.

Of the 12 dealers, six were new dealers.

The six new dealers were Victorange Sdn Bhd, Fook Loi Corp (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (Kota Kinabalu), Fook Loi Corp (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (Sandakan), Ming Heng Sdn Bhd, Grand Arena Automotive Sdn Bhd and YS Autoworld Sdn Bhd.

Fook Loi Corp group executive director Thomas Chiu Kui Yin said he has always believed in the national car capabilities to conquer the market once again.

He was so confident that he invested in two dealer outlets, one as a 4S flagship centre in Kota Kinabalu, and another, a 3S centre in Sandakan.
