WELL-KNOWN for functionality and minimalism at its heart, Scandinavian design is rooted in the elements of nature and tradition. It is this that Tumi draws from for its Autumn 2018 Travel collections.
With a new take on camouflage and subtle texture play, as well as classic florals modernised with shifting contrasts and reflective pops, the season presents new dimensions.
Tumi’s Latitude is reintroduced in an elegant blush colour and accented with rose gold trim. The collection’s models come crafted from SRPP Ballistic, an ultra-durable material that is both lightweight and incredibly strong.
There are also functional features like tie-down straps, multiple pockets for increased organisation, and a hanger bracket. The new colourway will be offered in a range of carry-on and check-in sizes.
When form and function come together, it is as if each single touch point blends to create a cohesive design. The Merge collection does just that – it pairs Tumi’s design DNA with lightweight, relaxed options.
Newly introduced is the Merge wheeled duffel, available in both a carry-on and packing case. It features a relaxed, unstructured front panel with multiple zipper storage pockets, as well as an easy-access top compartment.
Additionally, Autumn 2018 features exciting new colours and prints for the Merge collection. They include deep combinations of graphical elements with different undertones, plus reflective effects and a new core colour.
Since its launch, Tumi’s 19 Degree Aluminum collection has become a travel staple for every style enthusiast on the go. A masterful combination of luxury and innovation, this collection is the pinnacle of travel gear.
Now available in unique and exciting new seasonal colours, this aluminum assortment features a reinforced frame case design and die-cast corner caps for additional protection.
The interior is furnished with the finest aesthetic and organisational features including a lightweight lining with an embossed diamond pattern that complements the unique exterior pattern.
Autumn 2018 also sees Tumi offering other lifestyle travel designs for both men and women. They comprise intentional, thoughtful designs marrying form and functionality.
From Sept 11 to 16, Tumi is opening its “Scandinavian Lodge” at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Centre Court. This is to celebrate the season’s collection inspired by the region.
The special setup will give visitors the opportunity to fully immerse themselves into the world of Tumi’s latest designs, experienced through an innovative and interactive journey.
