New Mercedes facilities open in Kuantan
MERCEDES-BENZ Malaysia (MBM) and its dealer partner Asbenz Stern Sdn Bhd has launched the Mercedes-Benz Asbenz Stern Kuantan Autohaus to strengthen the three-pointed Star’s presence in the East Coast vicinity.
Supporting the city-centre autohaus is a service centre just outside town on Jalan Gambang.
Both facilities are built with an investment of RM5mil from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Asbenz Stern.
The autohaus and service centre occupy build-up areas of 3,860sq ft and 13,496sq ft respectively.
The autohaus is also designed with the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II Autohaus concept and the latest MercedesBenz corporate identity.
Mercedes-Benz Asbenz Stern Kuantan offers sales, service and spare parts in its autohaus and service centre for a comprehensive end-to-end customer experience.
The service centre has 10 work bays and one inspection bay, allowing 250 vehicles to be serviced monthly.
MBM president and CEO Dr Claus Weidner said the company is confident of growing demand for premium automobiles in the East Coast region.
“Together with our partner dealer Asbenz Stern, we underline our commitment to the East Coast Region.
Dr Weidner also said the quality services provided by autohauses outside Kuala Lumpur is the same as those in the capital city.
“We want our customers to know that the high level of services provided by every autohauses across Malaysia is the same,” he said.
Meanwhile, Asbenz Motors managing director Goh Chuan Kiong said providing top quality services is one of the strategies to gain new customers and retain existing one.
Asbenz Motors’ partnership with Mercedes-Benz started in May 2014 with its first autohaus in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
With the launch of MercedesBenz Asbenz Kuantan autohaus, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia retains the largest premium vehicle coverage with 34 autohauses nationwide.
