A subsidiary of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Group, the college is among the pioneers in Malaysian healthcare education with a track record of academic excellence since its establishment in 1995. Registered with the Higher Education Ministry (MoHE) as a Private Institution of Higher Education, its programmes are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.

A wide range of programmes is offered, from certification to degree programmes.
RSDH College has registered an average of 99% pass rates over the last 20 years in the registration exams held by the Malaysian Nursing Board and 100% pass and CGPA of
>3.0 for 93% of the class in the 2015 Medical Assistant Programme Final Exams (reviewed by the Malaysian Medical Assistant Board).
Its nursing programme is designed to develop students’ critical thinking and clinical decisionmaking skills. They are also exposed to handson clinical experience at its group of internationally recognised hospitals guided by experienced clinical instructors.
There are also international exchange programmes in place to Australia and Indonesia, offering students the opportunity for attachment in Ramsay Hospitals.
The college offers the Hospital Sponsorship programme, which offers financial aid to students who are financially constrained but keen to pursue Nursing studies at Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College. Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
(1) Malaysian
(2) Aged 25 or below
(3) Credits in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, Science and one other subject in the SPM examination
4) Higher grades and language proficiency will be an advantage.
This is offered for the Diploma in Nursing programme. The sponsorship, worth RM90,000, covers registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation, living and book allowance.
Regarding the service bond period, upon completion of studies, scholars will be required to serve at a leading medical centre in Malaysia for five years.
There is a RM3,000 fee waiver for diploma programmes for the September intake, and PTPTN and loans are also available.
