A fairytale come true for Michael Wong fans

-

IT is a fairy tale come true for Malaysian fans of Michael Wong (pic), better known as Guang Liang, who will be coming back to Kuala Lumpur for a concert on November 10.

Not only will you get to watch the Taiwan-based Malaysian pop star live at the iconic Stadium Merdeka, the ticket is merely RM99!

According to a press release, it was Wong’s wish to price the tickets as low as possible to allow more fans the chance to catch the concert.

However, due to the challenges and expenses incurred in making this low-price possible, he also hopes that fans purchase their tickets through proper legal channels and not through illegal means or resort to scalped tickets.

The Michael Wong Lonely Planet Concert Tour will be held on Nov 10, 8pm. It will be Wong’s first major Malaysian concert since his 20th Anniversary Michael Wong Crazy Memories 2015 Live Tour in Malaysia three years ago, which was held at the Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium (now known as the Axiata Arena).

Best known for iconic ballads and love songs like Fairy Tale, Palm and The First Time, Wong recently released a new album called Nine Ways To Enjoy Loneliness.

The upcoming concert follows the theme of the album, which presents a different version of himself to his fans. – Michael Cheang

Tickets for the concert are available now via ticketcharge.com.my. Each person is only allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets. The concert is organised by XYmusic.com and presented by Musimax Entertainment, with 988 as the official radio station. 988 is a member of the Star Media Radio Group.
