Discovery Sport gets refreshed for 2018

JAGUAR Land Rover Malaysia has unveiled the updated Land Rover Discovery Sport that promises greater comfort, safety, versatility, refinement, efficiency and of course performance.

The new Discovery Sport is on display at all Land Rover showrooms nationwide and have been priced at RM379,800 (excluding road tax, registration and insurance).

Powering the vehicle is the new 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium engine that produces 240PS and 340Nm of torque and coupled to a nine-speed ZF automatic transmission.

This combination helps provide for low-end response, an improved mid-range acceleration and lower engine speeds when cruising at high speed - all of which helps to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and engine noise.

Although the Malaysian version comes as a 5-seater as standard, it is configurable to 5+2 seating as an option.

Meanwhile, the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system keeps occupants entertained with its smartphone-like touchscreen behaviour, customisable home screen and wallpaper and the ability to add widgets for shortcuts to favourite features.

All Land Rover vehicles, distributed by authorised dealers, are covered by the ‘Land Rover Care’ programme which is based on whichever comes first and provides a five-year warranty or 150,000km, five-year servicing or 65,000km and three-year Roadside Assistance.
