A French botanical range of hair and personal care products is now available in Malaysia to provide gentle solutions for the entire family.
Founded by a pharmacist, the late Pierre Fabre, Klorane began more than 50 years ago in the Southwest of France with a vision to marry science and plant heritage to create effective, innovative products that respect both nature and people.
Klorane, a popular haircare brand in European pharmacies, is exclusively available at selected Watsons outlets and Watsons Malaysia e-commerce store.
In 1994, Fabre started the Klorane Botanical Foundation as a corporate foundation to sow the seeds of passion for botany around the world by preserving nature.
Since then, KBF has been protecting plant biodiversity with practical actions worldwide; such as 100,000 trees planted to help local communities and 15 endangered plant species are protected in Sicily, Madeira, Argentina, Singapore and Greece.
“Klorane Botanical Foundation’s primary purpose is to protect endangered plant species and to protect our plants, we must first be familiar with them. We believe that knowledge is only of value when it is shared and through this foundation, we develop educational materials and create concrete actions of conservation around the world,” said Florence Guillaume, Klorane Botanical Foundation Director, who was in Kuala Lumpur for the launch.
Klorane’s best-selling Oat Milk range comes in shampoo, conditioner and dry shampoo. The organically harvested oat milk softens and protects the scalp and is ideal for sensitive scalp.
Besides the Oat Milk range, there is Quinine for anti-hair fall, Peony for sensitive scalp, Mango Butter for dry hair, Flax Fibre for volume and texture, Pomegranate for coloured and damaged hair, Citrus Pulp for normal to oily hair, Nettle for oily hair, and Nasturtium for dry hair with dandruff.
The brand also offers Klorane Bebe, a range dedicated to babies with products such as bathing soap, face and body care, nappy cream, and many more. – Sandra Low
