Delightful treats
Desserts and cakes are obviously your favourite things for we received many drawings on the topic. Chan Jie Yi, 11, enjoys baking cakes with her mother. “We bake strawberry cake, chocolate cake and butter cake. Among all, I love chocolate cake most.”
“I enjoy baking gingerbread cookies during Christmas. I love to help Mummy mix the dough, use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes and bake them. I can’t wait to make more gingerbread cookies this Christmas,” writes Chong Xin Lin ,11.
Jessica Ong, 11, says: “I love ice cream. It is great to eat ice cream on a hot day. I always feel happy after eating an ice cream.”
“My grandma taught me how to bake simple cakes. I hope to be able to bake and ice unicorn-themed cake one day,” says Madelyn Bok ,11.
“I enjoy making doughnuts with Mummy. the best part is icing and eating the doughnuts. I love to decorate them with chocolate chips and strawberry icing,” writes Tiffany Chan ,11.
