Putting the style into lifestyle
Property developer KSK Land launches an exhibition featuring prominent Malaysian fashion designers.
IT seems that fashion is indeed a lifestyle. Property developer KSK Land has recently unveiled an exciting exhibition, one that features the country’s most prominent designers.
Curated exclusively for 8 Conlay, KSK Land’s maiden project, Confluential 3.0: Pret-A-Porter celebrates the coming together of lifestyle, fashion and luxury in Kuala Lumpur.
It showcases select works by Han Chong (of the London-based label Self-Portrait), Khoon Hooi, Joe Chia, Jonathan Liang, Ezzati Amira, Kittie Yiyi, Cassey Gan and Moto Guo.
Coined by 8 Conlay’s luxury hospitality partner Kempinski Hotel, the term “confluential” is said to describe the distinct marriage of confluence, confidence and influence.
With their vision and creativity, this instalment’s inimitable line-up of designers embodies the theme completely. The showcase pays tribute to their increasing presence in the fashion industry.
“We are extremely excited to be celebrating these eight designers and the select works they have curated exclusively for us,” commented KSK Group CEO Joanne Kua at the launch
“Through our ‘Confluential’ exhibition series, we wanted to establish 8 Conlay as a stage for people to explore the confluence of cultures and narratives at home and around the world.”
Projected to be the next stage-maker in Kuala Lumpur, 8 Conlay comprises a five-star Kempinski Hotel, luxury retail quarters and two towers devoted exclusively to YOO8 branded residences.
Open to the public until Nov 19, the exhibition features two looks from each of the eight designers. It runs from 10am to 5pm daily, across Levels 5 and 7 at Bangunan KSK, KL.
