Hong Kong-based fashion label Glancez offers women easy-to-wear, statement designs.
IF you’re looking for everyday wear that can help you stand out, then check out Glancez. The fashion label, which hails from Hong Kong (glancez.com), focuses on bright and attractive garments that are comfortable.
It has collaborated with several contemporary artists, resulting in accessories (and even houseware) that come in eye-catching shades. The offerings also adhere to a playful yet polished aesthetic.
“Glancez believes in illuminating life with vibrant colours through a dynamic attitude. A great emphasis on radiance is to be instilled by the minds of the highly imaginative, ” reads a statement by the label.
As it is, the name is formed from the combination of the phrase “taking several glances”, which also acts as a wordplay of sorts – conveying a fun and absolutely bold attitude.
The brand’s focus has always been to incorporate a diversified sense of artistry into its designs. Each individual piece launched is said to have been meticulously designed and produced.
Hence, the collections would be best described as wearable art. Or rather, one of a kind garment pieces designed and precisely tailored to the physique of different individuals.
The upcoming Glancez Spring/Summer 2019 collection titled “My Relationship”, originated as a social commentary about the common issues faced by relationships in the digital age today.
It was presented in Paris recently, together with several independent designers from all over the globe. The event, organised by Oxford Fashion Studio, ran alongside the 2018 Paris Fashion Week.
