ScreenX marks the spot
GOLDEN Screen Cinemas (GSC) is looking at introducing ScreenX theatre next year at its flagship outlet at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Two more ScreenX theatres will open in 2020.
ScreenX theatre offers a panoramic, 270° cinema environment that projects films on three walls of the auditorium.
This technology comes from CJ 4DPLEX, the world’s leading cinema technology company with whom GSC formed a partnership to bring 4DX theatre to Malaysia.
In addition to ScreenX theatres, cinemagoers can also look forward to three additional 4DX theatres.
The second 4DX theatre will be opened, by the end of this month, at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Two additional locations, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya and Southkey, Johor Baru, will also get the 4DX technology sometime next year.
