In Step One, students will get a detailed consultation with Medic Ed’s qualified practising doctors. Then, Medic Ed will help students enrol in the Foundation in Science (FiS) in its own TMC College, which is recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education.
Under the FiS, Russian language and Russian cultural classes are provided for students who choose to further their studies in Russia. For those who choose universities in Indonesia, an entrance exam intensive class is provided and lecturers from Indonesia will be invited to give talks.
In Step Two, first-year medical course syllabus subjects will also be taught besides the basic science subjects. Besides that, its doctors will give medical talks to students from time to time.
In Step Three, students will have completed their FiS and be waiting to go to overseas for medical studies. All visas, university offer letters, hostels and air tickets will be handled by Medic Ed. Representatives are also appointed in all of the universities to look after the students’ welfare and customer service portals are provided. Pre-departure briefing will be given and Medic Ed doctors will guide students on their studies.
Every student’s performance and grades will be monitored. If they encounter any difficulties in their studies, they can always consult the team of experienced doctors for advice. Medic Ed also has an interest-free loan of up to RM500,000 per year for students needing financial assistance.
In Step Four, Medic Ed will assist students upon graduation with documentation procedures and registration with the Malaysian Medical Council. Medical graduates can get advice from Medic Ed’s doctors before taking the first step in their housemanship programme.
