Unique Australia study option
KINGSLEY International School (KIS) has set a new milestone as the first international school in Malaysia to offer the RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) Foundation Studies Programme.
KIS remains the only education institution to partner with the prestigious RMIT University to offer O-Level/ SPM students the chance to take a pre-university programme, which is not only time-saving but cost-saving too.
The next enrolment for April 2019 is now open. This exciting opportunity gives all SPM, UEC and IGCSE high school leavers to pursue an internationally acclaimed Australian foundation programme before deciding on their next course of study in the university level, with a host of lecturers handpicked and co-trained by RMIT Melbourne, to give mileage and stability when they select their preferred programme later on.
There are two foundation options that students can choose under the RMIT University Foundation Studies Programme at KIS.
One is the Foundation in Science and Engineering, which leads to engineering and computer-related bachelor degrees, while the other is the Foundation in Business, which leads to business, finance, accounting, economics, mass communication and other business-related bachelor degrees.
Upon completion of the Foundation programme, students can directly apply or be assisted by the school to register for any RMIT bachelor degree programmes. RMIT University will also award the students with a conditional offer to study at their university in Melbourne provided that they achieve good academic results.
The RMIT University Foundation Certification is widely recognised and accepted by all Australian universities as well as universities in the Oceania countries, and also worldwide in Europe and the United States. Credit transfers are applicable.
Among the reasons why students should undertake RMIT Foundation Studies Programme in KIS are the small class size with a maximum of 30 students per class, studying in a safe and well-prepared classroom, free IELTS preparatory classes and access to recreational and sports facilities such as swimming and basketball.
There is also boarding or hostel accommodation available for a long stay or weekday stay only. In addition, the lecturers are experienced and well-equipped for tertiary teaching in an environment that is clean and free from any noise or pollution.
The April 2019 intake is now open for registration with scholarships up to 50% available. The boarding facility is available to both local and foreign students.
