CIE A-Levels
The Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) A-Levels is the world’s most recognised pre-university programme. BAC provides a wide range of subjects in the arts and sciences while offering students the option of choosing either the Express Route (11 months) or the Standard Route (18 months).
Students can select from a wide range of A-Levels subjects offered by BAC which include biology, chemistry, physics, law, economics, accounting, English literature, further mathematics and mathematics, allowing them to progress to a variety of degree programmes in law, business, medicine, finance, engineering or communication, among others.
Students looking forward to getting a head start in their careers will find the BAC A-Levels Express Route the perfect option for them. This unique programme coupled with BAC’s UK Transfer Degree Programme in Law or Business allows students to graduate up to two years ahead of their peers.
BAC is renowned for its CIE A-Levels programme, as evidenced by its outstanding track record over the years. For the seventh year running, BAC A-Levels students received the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for their excellent results in the CIE series.
In the June 2018 exam, Teoh May Xuan scored the highest marks in Malaysia for A-Level Law, while Lee Ji Kean scored the highest marks in Malaysia for A-Level Business and Mum Pei Shan Xuan scored the highest marks in the world for AS Level Law.
Foundation in Law
The Foundation in Law (FIL) is a comprehensive programme designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a degree in law or its related fields.
The FIL is also recognised as an entry requirement for students intending to pursue the Certificate in Legal Practice in Malaysia.
It provides students with a solid grounding in core legal subjects such as criminal law, contract law, tort law and the English Legal System while developing the skills to help them succeed in almost any career.
Upon successful completion of this course, students can choose from a wide range of undergraduate programmes in social sciences and humanities such as business, management, finance, economics, marketing, mass communications and public relations.
The FIL emphasises practical experiences while enabling students to build on their existing skills through interactive and student-centric approaches to learning. They will benefit from a holistic and hands-on methodology through discussions, exploration and evaluation of issues, in addition to developing presentation skills.
The BAC Education Fund
The BAC Education Fund grants Financial and Merit Scholarships of up to RM 10,000,000 to help deserving students achieve their dreams.
