LANCOME will be celebrating Chinese New Year in 2019 with a major campaign.

Called “Wish Big”, the nationwide campaign is also the brand’s first exclusive partnership with Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

The 40-day campaign – which is currently running till Feb 15 – features a pop-up booth with two big lanterns and an inspired window view of Shanghai and Paris. There is also a makeup and skin consultation play area.

The eye-catching booth allows visitors to experience Lancome with the brand’s Happiness Activists (beauty experts).

There is also a feast of interactive and integrated retail entertainment where one of the many highlights includes sampling of the brand’s star product Advanced Genifique, with a push of a button. Shoppers can also send personalised Chinese

New Year e-greetings from an Insta-Media machine that captures portraits with different fun auspicious filters.

Daily gifts will be given out to visitors to the pop-up, and they are encouraged to usher in the New Year through “Wish Big”. All wishes will be seen in real time on a digital panel at the promotional area. The public can log on to the official website to participate in the campaign and be in the running for the Grand Prize trip to Paris!

To complete the retail experience, there is a photo booth filled with life size Lancome iconics for families to capture a memento together. The family portrait is a powerful feng shui tool that can attract abundance, wealth and success for the entire home. Other activities include an engraving service, “BaZi” assessment, palm reading and calligraphy.

The brand will also release a limited edition Chinese New Year design for its star product Advanced Genifique and bestselling L’Absolu Rouge in shades No.290 and No.118. – Sandra Low
