Demeter Fragrance Library is aimed at capturing the emotive scent and the essence of happy memories in a bottle.
Handcrafted in the USA since 1996 by perfumer Christopher Brosius, the single scent brand now consists of over 300 different fragrances inspired by everyday objects and experiences.
Why so many different scents? Because our sense of smell triggers our strongest emotional response, choosing and wearing a Demeter fragrance is a personal expression of that emotional response.
“The fragrance business has changed over time; consumers are looking for varieties but at the same time, more customised in its scent. Upon buying a perfume, consumers are most likely to consider fragrances with deeply inspiring values and strong appeal to their scent personality. In short, it is the quality and feelgood traits that a bottle of perfume must have for its wearers,” Caryn Loh, managing director of Watsons Malaysia explains.
“With Demeter Fragrance Library available exclusively in Watsons, our customers can hand-pick their most intimate scent of fragrances. Other product offerings from the brand include scented hand creams, lips balms and more perfumes designed in different forms and features,” Loh adds.
“The foundation of Demeter Fragrance Library begins from memory. Our brain captures every little happiness in our daily lives when we experience new things and discover new feelings every day. Demeter Fragrance Library offers six classic scents such as White Musk, Icelandic Aurora, Baby Powder, Sweet Baby, Crystal Rose and other unique scents that are exclusively available in selected Watsons stores.
Exclusively designed for Malaysia, Demeter Fragrance Library comes in 30ml bottles and the brand has also produced four limited edition fragrances known as The City Version. Inspired by Malaysia’s cultural diversity, each scent is made and named according to world-mapping locations Penang, Melaka, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur.
