ACTOR Miller Khan is so hot that he even has fans of the otherworldly sort. He shared that this creepy visitation happened on the set of Indonesian horror flick Hide

& Seek Minako three years ago. The Kuala Lumpur-born, Indonesia-based actor shared his thoughts about the eerie encounter during a press conference in Petaling Jaya to launch Hide &Seek

Minako in Malaysia. Recalling the creepy episode to the media, Miller said he had been pulling another all-nighter, and was hoping to grab some shuteye at the lounge area.

“It was between 3am and 4am. I was very tired and wanted to take a rest. I opened the door to find the casting director eyeing me strangely. She is usually very friendly to me so that was quite a shock for me.”

“Some of the crew members were actually holding her down. I was told that she had been possessed by a kuntilanak (female vampire). They said that she had become hysterical and started throwing bottles of mineral water at the other crew members and scaring everybody in the room.

“That was before I entered the room. They told me that she only started to behave strangely when I appeared, which they say means that the spirit really likes me. The crew members then advised me to leave the room as a precaution, as they were worried that the spirit may follow me.”

The 31-year-old actor, whose real name is Mohammad Suhaemi Ali Dad Khan, admits that the experience has undoubtedly left him feeling rather unsettled.

“That was one of the spookiest experiences of my life. I never used to believe in such things, but after that happened, I can no longer deny their existence,” said Miller, whose latest movie is Indonesian sci-fi action thriller Foxtrot Six.

Helmed by director Billy Christian, Hide & Seek Minako was released in Indonesia in 2017.

Other cast members include Nicky Tirta, Gandhi Fernando, Wendy Wilson, Regina Rengganis and Natasha Gott.

Adapted from a novel titled

Petak Umpet Minako, the horror thriller revolves around a group of young people performing a supernatural ritual. It is to summon a spirit to enter a stuffed doll named Minako, so that they can play with the spirit.

In Hide & Seek Minako, Miller plays a young man named Baron who gets sucked into the dangerous game when he goes looking for his missing girlfriend after she and her friends performed the ritual.

Hide & Seek Minako is showing at GSC cinemas nationwide.
