Natural latex for quality sleep

-

ONE of the biggest furniture trade exhibitions of the year – Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE) is held on March 9-12 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). It is open to the public on March 12.

Exhibiting for the seventh year at EFE, Getha proudly received a token of appreciation as a loyal exhibitor at the opening ceremony, graced by the guest of honour, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

In addition to winning the international World Branding Award at Kensington Palace, London four years consecutively, Getha was also recently awarded the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) Industry Awards for the category of Best Marketer Award in 2018. The award was presented by Teresa Kok to Gethá founder, Vincent Tan Kai Long at the Majlis Malam Anugerah MREPC 2018 on Sept 18, 2018.

A proud homegrown bedding company since 1969, Getha warmly welcomes buyers from over 140 countries to its booth at Hall 5, Booth B05 featuring its latest display of quality modern and contemporary range of bedding products, including 100% natural latex mattresses, bedframes, pillows and more.

Getha’s newest mattress collection will be showcased during the EFE, including the Genetics series, Compass Luxury series and W50 series. Visitors will get a chance to learn more about the wonders of 100% natural latex and its unique ability to provide the ultimate comfort and support and innovative sleep technologies, including the Biocare radiation protection sleep technology, Nano Silver bacterial protection technology and Anti-Static technology.

The Biocare radiation shielding technology is a revolutionary solution targeted for wellness and quality of life and helps protect the body from radiation during sleep, prevents stress by reducing static electricity, regulates the body's biorhythm, promotes excellent quality of sleep and prevents diseases and odour caused by bacteria.

“What makes us different from other bedding products in the industry is our high focus on using 100% natural latex in every mattress,” said Getha chief executive officer, Melissa Tan. The benefits of 100% natural latex are endless and the main highlight is its elasticity, allowing the material to twist, bend and stretch accordingly to fit every unique individual’s body.

Tan adds, “This year, we are expecting good quality buyers to visit the EFE. We strongly believe Malaysia holds great advantages in terms of quality and service when it comes to competing in the international market. Such advantages bring buyers back to Malaysia looking for reliable suppliers and this is our target group to expand our business internationally. We are a proud Malaysian brand using Malaysia’s national treasure – “Getah Asli” and we want the world to know about the wonders of Malaysian latex. We look forward to welcoming all international visitors to learn and experience 100% Malaysian latex through our collection.”

The latex mattress demand has been growing not just in Malaysia but also in many other countries as consumers begin to develop deeper interest in healthy and green products.

Consumers are more discerning than ever and Getha continuously innovates to meet market expectations. Apart from excellent product and service, Getha prioritises the need to provide a memorable brand experience to its customers. Visitors can also visit any of the 22 Getha stores nationwide, including Getha Pavilion at Level 6 and the Getha roadshow at Pavilion Centre Court from March 11 to 17.
