ItalIan footwear brand Flexx is offering trendy designs for today’s modern men and women. For 2019, these include styles that can transition from day to night, as well as from work to play.
Handcrafted and designed in tuscany, Italy, each different shoe is made to be comfortable. they come with an incredibly flexible sole, which happens to be the namesake of the brand itself.
“the ‘stitch and turn’ construction is rather unique to Flexx. It involves stitching the upper of the shoe directly to the sole inside out, then turning right side out,” explains lenson Chong, marketing director of Flexx Malaysia.
“this ensure a perfect finished shape. not only that, it is also a completely handmade process that is made without the addition of any materials that could stiffen the shoe.”
according to Chong, the brand made its debut in Malaysia in 2013. It has grown in popularity over the years and can now be found in all major department stores, plus standalone boutiques.
“Most our customers can’t get enough of the shoes once they’ve tried them on. they’re so comfortable. For Flexx, the selling power has always been about the experience. “
He adds: “the styles are cross-generational too. We have the sneakers, which are more trendy and youthful, and the ladies’ flats that are very much a bestseller.”
Flexx’s latest styles are made available in this season’s new key colours and patterns. Shades such as red, beige, rose pink, denim blue, silver and ochre, as well as reptile prints, denote a cool attitude and fun vibe.
For the men, it is the range of smart casual and business shoes that stand out. loafers, low-cut boots and more – they suit all personalities, from the streetwise gent to fashionable urbanite.
Classic penny loafers for example, are perfect for the cool executive. leather sneakers, on the other hand, can go with any look, whether to the office, after work drinks, dinner dates or weekend outings.
the women can look forward to a range of oh-so-pretty slip-ons. these are a definite wardrobe staple, with soft padded innersoles and extremely supple hand-crafted leather uppers.
Casual sandals were once considered to be unfashionable, but have now made an appearance on runways everywhere. the metallic bronze ones from Flexx is relaxed, practical, well-designed and stylish, all at the same time.
