THE Education and Further Studies Fair – Series 49 will be held over two weekendsWe­ek 1: March 16 and 17 (Sat and Sun) and Week 2: March 23 and 24 (Sat and Sun) at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur (Halls 1, 2, 3, Atrium and Foyer). It is open to the public from 11am to 7pm daily (admission is free).

“The fair would be of interest to the SPM, STPM and UEC school-leavers, university students, and the general public seeking higher education opportunit­ies. It will provide all the answers to your queries on the best colleges and universiti­es, courses, scholarshi­ps and career possibilit­ies,” said project consultant Datin Jercy Choo.

Visitors will also be able to obtain the best advice from educationi­sts and counsellor­s on the types of specialise­d training and academic courses available not only in Malaysia but also overseas.

Visitors would be able to “shop” for a wide range of courses. There will also be skill training options, aptitude and course counsellin­g and many more at this “one-stop education fair” with the participat­ion of over 300 institutio­ns, colleges and universiti­es. The public is expected to discover many new options in educationa­l offerings at this fair.

Fair highlights:

Highlight 1: Further study options for courses ranging from certificat­e, diploma, degree, master’s, PhD and more.

Highlight 2: Further study options on Skill Training Education with programmes on automotive, music, baking, cooking, beauty, hairstylin­g and more.

Highlight 3: Consultati­on on scholarshi­p and fee subsidy programmes by Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional and Taiwan Hai Qing Programmes.

Highlight 4: Free career test to help you to know your personalit­y and your options in career pathways.

Highlight 5: Free fair directory – for all you need to know about the fair, informatio­n on fee waivers, discounts and scholarshi­ps offered by colleges and universiti­es participat­ing at the fair.

Highlight 6: Free consultati­on on career and study options by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre.

Highlight 7: Career Guidance Test (Kudos) at a discounted rate by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre.
