-

UNIVERSITI Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s premier private university in higher technical and vocational training (HTVET). It is the biggest IPTS (Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta) in the country with a total of over 24,000 students.

Operating on the concept of “One Institute, One Specialisation”, there are 12 campuses, each offering programmes in foundation, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The diversity in specialisation within the university enables the optimisation of resources and enhances teaching and learning activities, as well as boosts profound research activities.

At UNIKL, the nature of study is such that 60%–70% of students’ time is spent on practical hands-on training.

The TVET approach covers a wide spectrum of industries ranging from medical and allied health sciences, aviation, marine, chemical, information technology and business, among others.

This is the key difference in ensuring the curriculum matches industrial needs to produce job-ready graduates.

Supported by state-of-the-art facilities, teaching and learning aids, laboratories, resource centres and hostel that include premier accommodation, UNIKL is committed to providing excellence in every facet of a student’s life.
