Entrepreneurship is embedded in the learning ecosystem at MSU. Aimed at nurturing job creators, the MSU initiative to enhance graduate employability by building holistic, balanced, well-rounded graduates has resulted in recognition and awards to the university.
The creation of an entrepreneurial eco-system across the curriculum further provides students with an environment for the nurturing of graduates who are deeply rooted with traits of entrepreneurial knowhow. In addition, SEED and Jumpstart are among the university’s grants for aspiring MSUpreneurs.
Due to strong commitment for developing a comprehensive entrepreneurial ecosystem, MSU has received numerous recognitions on entrepreneurship from local and international bodies including being the first university in Asia to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) based in the Netherlands in 2018 and The Most Entrepreneurial Private University in Malaysia by the Education Ministry at MEA 2016.
In addition, MSU under the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies, offers the bachelor and diploma programme in Entrepreneurship for aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to have a solid understanding of entrepreneurial theories for them to push the boundaries of innovation in various business challenges.
With a vibrant and conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem at the university, students will be able to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in a creative and supportive learning environment.
They will learn to develop important business skills, make strategic decisions, and enhance their communication skills under the guidance of academics as well as business mentors.
