May there be light

DEEPAVALI or Diwali is also known as the festival of lights and is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains.

Most homes are decorated with lights (which represents the victory of good over evil) and children wear colourful new clothes and enjoy delicacies as they spend time with loved ones.

There is a variety of treats such as the various types of muruku, ghee balls, coconut candy, Kheer, halwa and more. What are some of your favourite treats and dishes during Deepavali?
