Come November, dimsum will be hosting its first ever large-scale Thai Pop 2019 Music Showcase, in conjunction with its third anniversary celebrations.
The music showcase, supported by the Royal Thai Embassy Kuala Lumpur, will be held on Nov 10, 6pm, at IDEAL Convention Centre, Shah Alam.the exciting lineup includes twelve performances by nine popular Thai artistes: film star Sunny Suwanmethanont; Thai boy group 9BY9 members Tor Thanapob Leeratanakajorn, Jaylerr Kritssanapoom Pibulsonggram, Captain Chonlathorn Kongyingyong and Ice Paris Intarakomalyasut; and singer-actors Sky Wongravee Nateetorn, Bilkin Putthipong Assaratanakul, Thanaerng Kanyawee Songmuang, and Pearwah Nichaphat Chatchaipholrat.

Lovey Dovey
Adapted from two stories in a novel titled Lovey Brother and Dovey Sister, this drama revolves around the many complications that arise when two brothers fall in love with two sisters.
The older brother Kongfa (Bie Thassapak Hsu) is smittened with the younger sister Khaiwan (Pearwah), while the younger brother Daoneu (March Chutavuth Pattarakhumphol) has a crush on the older sister Kookai (Namcha Sheranut Yusananda).
So, Kongfa thinks he has to wait till Khaiwan grows up to pursue her, while Daoneu can hardly wait to grow up fast enough to court Kookai.
How will it all work out in the end?
U Prince series – The Extroverted Humanist
Kiryu Weller (Captain) is an outgoing and friendly second-year student from the Faculty of Humanities, who becomes interested in Pinyin (Ploychompoo Jannine Parawie Weigel), his junior who transferred from China.
However, she has the complete opposite personality. Pinyin is introverted, anxious, without friends and shy, so she finds finds Kiryu’s intrusion overwhelming initially.
Love Song Love Series – The Little Boat Should Leave Shore
Toon (Captain) is the son of restaurant owner and a member of the school Jazz band.
Due to his fear of failure, he is undecided about his future plans.
His poor academic results and lack of confidence in facing college entrance exams lead him to focus his efforts on music, although is father is not happy about it.
So, he appreciates the support of his friend Mew (Praew Chaisang Narupornkamol) who helps him with his music practice.
I Hate You, I Love You
A suspense-filled drama about five different people and how their lives get intertwined by a twist of fate and jealousy when all they seek is love.
The story is told from the point of view of each character over five days before a mysterious incident.
Nana (Punpun Sutatta Udomsilp) is a rich teenage girl who suspects that her boyfriend Tiger (Jaylerr) is cheating on her with her close friend Sol (Fon Sananthachat Thanapatpisal).
Sol tries to reassure Nana that she and Tiger are just friends but Nana does not believe her.
Meanwhile, Sol is being courted by Ai (Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang), who is willing to do anything to win her heart.
One day, Nana stumbles upon Tiger’s secret identity when she meets a callboy on the street named Joe (Sky).
Friendzone
The course of true love never did run smooth as several couples find out in this drama.
Boyo’s (Pearwah) life changed dramatically when she gets dumped by her boyfriend, loses her job, kicks out her housemate, and befriends a freelance artist named Good (Lee Thanat Lowkhunsombat).
Meanwhile, her other housemate Boom (Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom) is a beautiful woman whose boyfriend Tor (Best Nathasit Kotimanuswanich) is unwilling to acknowledge their relationship due to rumours about her reputation.
Long-time couple Amm (Aye Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol) and Cable (Ter Ratthanant Janyajirawong) keep bickering even though they have already bought an apartment together, because she is not sure he is ready for a future together.
dimsum’s Thai Pop 2019 Music Showcase will take place at IDCC Shah Alam on Nov 10 at 6pm.
