First established in 2005 as the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS), the institute was granted full university status in 2019 in recognition of its commitment to quality.

The university has been rated 5-Star (Excellent) by the Ministry of Education three times in a row and has also received a 5-Star rating for Teaching, Employability, Facilities and Inclusiveness by QS STARS, the publishers of the QS World University Rankings

The university is part of the Minda Global Berhad Group, a public-listed, private education provider. The group, which is listed in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia, owns two universities, three colleges, an international school and a language academy strategically located all across Malaysia.

Minda Global Berhad has always been at the forefront of fostering innovativeness with their strategies in order to cater to the fast-changing and highly competitive private education landscape.

According to the Group chief executive officer (GCEO), Naresh

Alagan, the establishment aims to move away from the traditional back-office processing to make way for a much bigger picture, instead of constantly dealing with administrative constraints.

As the world is moving at an increasingly rapid pace, higher education providers can no longer be complacent and use past methods to succeed in the future.

Naresh said, “We need a 21st-century platform to drive transparency in governance.

“An excellent campus management system, like Vialing, has a trickle-down effect. It is poised to create a strong environment for the management unit and the students.”

Realising that moving forward is an integral part of the industry, they will continually evolve to respond to new opportunities and challenges.

Naresh added, “Credibility is key. And the key to credibility is a seamless campus management system. Vialing has been a vital part of our operation and it will be able to cater to any higher education standards.”
