Live-action flick Mulan, previously set for March release, will now open on July 23.

The same goes for Monster Hunter, a fantasy flick based on the video game series of the same name, which arrives at Malaysian cinemas on Aug 27, a week earlier than in the United States.

One of the first international films to play at cinemas in Malaysia will be the fifth film in the Purge franchise, which opens on July 9.

Meanwhile, some movies like Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Raya And The Last Dragon and F9 – previously slated for release this year – have been moved to 2021.
