ANOTHER week of social distancing has brought with it a further trove of images shared by fashion-sphere icons, who are continuing to embrace a host of alternative looks as they put their glamorous lifestyles on hold to wait out the pandemic.

After weeks spent in ultra-comfy homebody duds, the arrival of warmer weather and a desire for something different have led the denizens of Instagram to branch out with sporty, casual and even feline outfits.

Here’s a roundup of some of the most striking looks posted over the past week. – AFP Relaxnews

Relaxed like Elsa Hosk

Getting comfy is key for Hosk as she wears a light grey combo of a soft sweat top and pants, looking perfectly chilled for the camera. The Swedish Victoria’s Secret model pairs her at-home look with a stunning aqua marine manicure to inspire calmness.

Sporty like Kylie Jenner

We are more used to seeing her in hair salons or by the pool, but in the middle of the pandemic, Jenner is discovering a love for sports, tennis to be precise. But just because she is about to slug it out on the court doesn’t mean that the businesswoman and influencer is going to neglect her outfit. A case in point is this carefully chosen ensemble, which is by Chanel. And so too is the racket.

Feline like Daniela Braga

Sublime Brazilian model Daniela Braga, who cultivates a glamorous and ultra-feminine look, is not one to succumb to the temptation of trackpants during lockdown. For proof look no further than this recent post in which she poses in a leopard-print slip dress and high-heeled sandals. The perfect look for glamorous evenings in the summer to come.

Casual like Emily DiDonato

The American top model, who has delighted her followers with snaps of numerous sportswear and homewear outfits since the beginning of the lockdown, has opted for a more casual look. DiDonato has made grey her colour of choice, combining slategrey trousers with a silver-grey textured sweater. Simple and so very restful.

1990s like Josephine Skriver

The Danish top model, who has often been seen in casual clothes – not just during the lockdown – has opted for a full-on 1990s look this week. The 27-year-old has combined a tie-dye hooded sweatshirt with torn denim shorts, sneakers and high white socks, basically, retro streetwear at its finest.
