Addressing challenges in business

-

AS Malaysia works to recover from the economic setback caused by the recent Covid-19 outbreak, the workforce now requires workers who not only possess relevant business skills, but also familiarity with aspects of Industrial Revolution 4.0. For the past 30 years, First City University College’s Faculty of Business, Hospitality and Communication (FBHC), has consistently produced highly competent business graduates in the midst of the major 1997 and 2009 economic downturns via its industry-relevant programmes.

Foundation in Business Administration

Within one year, FBHC’s Foundation in Business Administration programme aims to equip students with a strong foundation in business fundamentals and learning skills. Classes are designed to cultivate independent study and critical thinking skills, necessary for specialised degree programmes.

Diploma programmes

The two-year Hospitality and Tourism Management programme prepares students to establish solid careers in related industries.

Besides theoretical classes, students will be able to sharpen their knowledge and skills through the internship module.

Bachelor’s degree programmes

Graduates from the Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Marketing bachelor’s degree programmes have gained a steady reputation of landing jobs at leading corporate bodies due in large part to the industry-relevant syllabi taught under partnership with Anglia-Ruskin University, UK (ARU).

Level up your career prospects with MBA

Having understood that many companies prefer to hire managers with a global business outlook, First City UC has once again partnered with ARU to provide students with top-notch business knowledge and skills.

MBA students can choose either a oneyear duration (full-time) or two-year duration (part-time).

Special Open Day, One-Stop Education Fair and Enrolment Incentives

SPM leavers are encouraged to map out their education pathway to success at First City UC’s Virtual Open Day sessions throughout May.

Prospective foundation and diploma students should enrol quickly for the upcoming May intake to enjoy 50% off their tuition fee. Students who sign up for any bachelor’s degree will enjoy 10% off for their first year tuition fee. Foundation or diploma students continuing on to their bachelor’s degree studies will enjoy a 15% alumni incentive.

First City UC also provides a variety of financial aid and scholarships, including the First City Merit Scholarship, UEC Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, Sibling and Alumni Incentive and many others.

?? ?? FBHC students will have access to state-ofthe-art learning facilities, such as this lecture theatre throughout their study programme.
