Colourful fruits every day
DID you know that adding salt to pineapple makes it sweeter? And that durians are so stinky they are not allowed in hotels?
Fruit gives us vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients which keep our bodies strong. We should eat fruits every day and it is best to eat a variety of fruits in a variety of colours – green (kiwi, apples and grapes), orange (oranges, mango and papaya) and yellow or red (strawberries and bananas).
It’s the durian season now. Any durians lovers here? Have you been eating durian? Have you tried the popular varieties of durian like Musang King, D24 and Red Prawns?
