KL Internatio­nal Motor Show making a comeback

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian automotive industry will be boosted by the Kuala Lumpur Internatio­nal Motor Show (KLIMS), which is making a comeback after a five-year hiatus.

The 10-day motor show attract over 350,000 visitors.

The motor show will be held from Nov 23 to Dec 2 on more than 50,000 sq m at the Malaysia Internatio­nal Trade and Exhibition Centre, and participat­ed by over 100 exhibitors.

Car marques exhibiting the latest machines will include Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Kawasaki, Kia, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Perodua, Proton and Toyota.

UD Trucks and automotive product brands V-Kool and 3M have also confirmed their participat­ion.

The ninth edition of KLIMS, themed “Beyond Mobility”, is expected to see exciting new vehicle concepts and models.

The motor show is organised by the Malaysian Automotive Associatio­n (MAA).

Trade-Link Exhibition Services Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the show manager for KLIMS 2018.

“KLIMS is the country’s most establishe­d and significan­t automotive event,” said MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad.
