Seacera gets letter of award for RM203mil job

PETALING JAYA: Property and construction outfit Seacera Group Bhd has received a letter of award from Fire Global Development Sdn Bhd for a RM202.8mil mixed development project in Terrenganu.

According to a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, the contract tenure is 60 months, commencing from approval of the building plan for the project.

This contract is expected to contribute positively towards Seacera Group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018 and beyond.

The project, which is planned for 989 units of landed houses, sits on 110.87 acres of government land under Lembaga Tabung Amanah Warisan Negeri Terengganu, situated in Kampung Air Sejuk, Bandar Permaisuri, Mukim Guntung, District of Setiu, Terengganu.

It has a gross development value (GDV) of RM242mil.

Seacera group managing director Zulkarnin Ariffin ( pic) said the company sees momentum picking up in Terengganu, and would like to place its foothold in this area by offering affordable and quality houses.
