Serba Dinamik wins RM268.5mil EPCC job in Laos
PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has won a RM268.5mil contract for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) work in Laos.
The EPCC contract was awarded by Nam Taep 1, 2, 3 Hydropower Co Ltd.
“This collaboration with Nam Taep marks Serba Dinamik’s first step into Laos and is in line with our strategy to increase our involvement in the energy market, as well as to enlarge our market presence in South-East Asia,” group managing director and CEO Datuk Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah ( pic) said in a statement.
“We currently have a total capacity of 120MW for hydropower plants,” he added.
The EPCC contract is for a duration of up to 43 months.
Meanwhile, Serba Dinamik said it is buying a 15% stake in Green & Smart Holdings Plc (GSH) for RM16.99mil through a share subscription exercise.
GSH, listed in London on the AIM market, is involved in research and development, engineering consultancy and process design services in the area of industrial biotechnology, pollution control and renewable energy, as well as EPCC of various waste water treatment plants/systems and development.
Its core business is power generation from biogas captured through the treatment of palm oil mill effluent.
