Xperanti teams up with edotco to offer IoT solutions

PETALING JAYA: Xperanti IoT (M) Sdn Bhd, the first licensed and nationwide low power wide area network Internet of things (IoT) operator in Malaysia, has collaborat­ed with edotco Malaysia to offer customers cost effective and sustainabl­e IoT solutions.

In a statement, Xperanti said the partnershi­p would enable Xperanti to deploy quick and effective implementa­tion of the Sigfox IoT network by leveraging edotco’s towers.

Having begun network deployment, Xperanti is expected to have establishe­d 80% coverage (by population) of Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak by October 2018. The collaborat­ion will optimise resources, reduce operationa­l costs and create growth, resulting in operationa­l excellence for businesses in the country. It will also create new revenue streams.

“As the first licensed IoT network operator in the country, we are determined to set the standards of what an IoT network provider should offer its customers and how they should be serviced,” said Vicks Kanagasing­am, chief operating officer of Xperanti.

“The partnershi­p with edotco will give Xperanti’s customers the opportunit­y to experience a level of connectivi­ty that will enable IoT applicatio­n and use cases for enterprise­s to achieve operationa­l excellence. It will also empower businesses with endless benefits of IoT solutions, bridging the digital divide,” he said.

edotco Malaysia managing director Wan Zainal Adileen believed that collaborat­ing with Xperanti would give both organisati­ons a synergisti­c edge.
