Xperanti teams up with edotco to offer IoT solutions
PETALING JAYA: Xperanti IoT (M) Sdn Bhd, the first licensed and nationwide low power wide area network Internet of things (IoT) operator in Malaysia, has collaborated with edotco Malaysia to offer customers cost effective and sustainable IoT solutions.
In a statement, Xperanti said the partnership would enable Xperanti to deploy quick and effective implementation of the Sigfox IoT network by leveraging edotco’s towers.
Having begun network deployment, Xperanti is expected to have established 80% coverage (by population) of Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak by October 2018. The collaboration will optimise resources, reduce operational costs and create growth, resulting in operational excellence for businesses in the country. It will also create new revenue streams.
“As the first licensed IoT network operator in the country, we are determined to set the standards of what an IoT network provider should offer its customers and how they should be serviced,” said Vicks Kanagasingam, chief operating officer of Xperanti.
“The partnership with edotco will give Xperanti’s customers the opportunity to experience a level of connectivity that will enable IoT application and use cases for enterprises to achieve operational excellence. It will also empower businesses with endless benefits of IoT solutions, bridging the digital divide,” he said.
edotco Malaysia managing director Wan Zainal Adileen believed that collaborating with Xperanti would give both organisations a synergistic edge.
