Prepare for the coming year with good business plans

-

IT IS no secret that a good business plan is imperative for a business to succeed, especially small and medium enterprises that benefit the most out of these plans.

However, for companies that are unclear as to how to design and implement these plans, there is a method to the madness.

“One thing I have tend to notice over my 15 years of coaching SMEs is that there is a lack of knowledge in the material.

“Many SMEs tend to do a lot of networking besides getting knowledge of the business and the market. I think knowledge is more important,” says ProfitMAX coach Peter Lam.

Lam is the author of ProfitMAX Your Business and was Malaysia’s first Platinum coach in 2006.

His expertise includes developing and implementing successful business growth strategies, leadership and team motivation and has a strong track record in marketing and building leading brands.

“For me, failing to plan is planning to fail in itself,” Lam says.

“Businesses need to gain clarity of their future goals if they intend to succeed. If there’s no clear action plan and they don’t implement a strategy based on the market conditions, consumer needs and busi- ness weakness, then success would be hard.”

Lam will be speaking at the Masterclass: Profitmax 2019 seminar to help companies future-proof their business while making plans for 2019.

The two-day seminar is aimed at SMEs and can help with effective marketing plans, provide tips on how to build a high-performing team and how to integrate digital marketing effectively, amongst other ideas.

The seminar will be held on November 28-29, at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya from 9am to 5pm.

Fees are priced at RM2,300 per pax.

Participants can sign up at bit.ly/ profitmax19 and receive a complimentary copy of Peter Lam’s ProfitMAX Your Business book upon sign up.
