DS Automobile­s unveils first store in South-East Asia

PETALING JAYA: French luxury carmaker DS Automobile­s, whose vehicles are distribute­d in Malaysia by Naza Euro Motors Sdn Bhd, has opened its first DS Store in SouthEast Asia.

The event was attended by chief executive officer of DS Automobile­s Yves Bonnefont and Naza Corp Holdings group chief executive officer of automotive group Datuk Samson Anand George.

The DS Store has a floor space of 3,230 sq ft and the capacity to display three cars at any one time and offers 3S facilities, which refers to services relating to sales, repairs and spare parts.

“With DS Automobile­s’ fervent support and vision to continue accelerati­ng DS brand developmen­t in Malaysia, we plan to invest RM5mil for marketing, operations and such in 2019, on top of the initial investment of RM2mil to set up the flagship store,” said George.

The store is also designed for existing and new customers to better understand the DS brand through its French heritage.

“Each DS Store embodies DS Automobile­s universe and is inspired by Parisian luxury boutiques with its very own atmosphere.

“It is designed to place the customer at the centre of the brand experience,” said Bonnefont.

Currently on display at the DS Store is the luxury crossover, the DS 7 Crossback.
