Kenanga IB has new chairman

PETALING JAYA: Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Syed Zainol Anwar Jamalullai­l as chairman, effective yesterday.

Syed Zainol Anwar, 68, has several chairmansh­ip positions, including Nestle (M) Bhd and S P Setia Bhd.

He is also the chairman of Lembaga Zakat Selangor and the Chancellor of SEGI University.

In a statement, Kenanga said Syed Zainol Anwar succeeded Izlan Izhab, 74, who was redesignat­ed as director of the group.

“I would like to thank Izlan for his leadership of the board since 2017 and I look forward to working closely with the fellow board members and management team of Kenanga Investment Bank to shape the continued success of the company,” said Syed Zainol Anwar.
