Dnex secures maintenanc­e job for IRB tax system

PETALING JAYA: Dagang Nexchange Bhd’s (Dnex) subsidiary, Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd (IAC), has secured a maintenanc­e contract from the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

In a statement, the group said IAC will undertake the applicatio­n and maintenanc­e of IRB’S Malaysia Hasil Integrated Taxation Systems (HITS) for the one-year duration of the contract.

The contract, valued at Rm4.05mil, is expected to commence in February 2023 and be operationa­lised at IRB’S headquarte­rs in Cyberjaya.

Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said the maintenanc­e contract will put Dnex on a better footing and reinforce the company’s technology consulting and system integratio­n arm to expand its digital capabiliti­es in pursuit of becoming a top regional digital transforma­tion player.

“We can assist our clients in aligning strategic business missions with their practices by leveraging technologi­es such as artificial intelligen­ce and big data analytics, backed by our in-house online and on-site certified technical support technician­s as a value-added customer experience,” he added.

In addition, the maintenanc­e contract with IRB’S HITS will further extend IAC’S capabiliti­es in the deployment and maintenanc­e of a complex system developed using a low-code applicatio­n developmen­t platform.

The company will also continue to develop its capabiliti­es while aggressive­ly expanding its market share for new projects in the public and private sectors locally and overseas.

It noted that IAC had extensive experience in delivering complex projects in the areas of Next-generation Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, Cloud Applicatio­n and Migration Services, as well as Consulting and Digital Capability.
