IF you live outside KL, imagine not having to plan a trip all the way to the city to inquire about courses you may have in mind. Imagine the convenienc­e of registerin­g for a university college in your own town! It isn’t too good to be true, because Mahsa is coming to you!

Mahsa University College will be hitting the road once again for visits all over Peninsular Malaysia.

This event is expected to attract over 1,200 students from all locations listed. The Mahsa roadshow, to be held from March 24 to April 5, will provide a variety of discounts and scholarshi­ps to those who register during this period. Discounts and scholarshi­ps One of the discounts offered are special rebates for the registrati­on fee. Bring your friends with you and if you register in groups of three or more, you will qualify for even further discounts.

The exciting news doesn’t stop there. In addition to the discounts, scholarshi­p awards are also available.

SPM leavers with 5As or more looking to enrol in the Foundation in Science programme will be entitled to receive scholarshi­p awards.

These attractive scholarshi­p awards range between RM1,400 and RM5,250 per student, depending on the SPM results obtained.

The more A’s a student has, the bigger the award they will receive.

On top of that, there is also the “Tuan Haji Abdullah Scholarshi­p” available for deserving and needy students.

Through this scholarshi­p, full and partial awards will be offered to eligible students. Dates and locations Take note of the following locations, and pencil them into your calendar.

Mahsa will be in the northern region from March 24 to April 5, stopping by Georgetown, Butterwort­h, Kangar, Alor Star, Sungai Petani, Kulim, Bukit Mertajam, Taiping, Ipoh, Sitiawan and Teluk Intan.

From March 24 to April 2, Mahsa will be in the south, visiting Johor Baru, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Muar, Segamat, Malacca, Bahau and Seremban.

East Coast locations will be from March 26 to April 2 with stops at Raub, Temerloh, Kuantan, Kemaman, Kuala Terengganu, Besut, Kota Baru and Gua Musang. Who should attend? Parents and students looking for free, expert advice about finding the right course should come to the roadshow. Meet counsellor­s face to face and get direct on-the-spot advice on what courses to take.

The Mahsa roadshow team will also be able to provide students and parents with a clear and easy-to-follow applicatio­n procedure, which will ensure that all documents are complete and correctly submitted.

If unsure on what course to register for, you can opt to take home informativ­e pamphlets that you can share and discuss with your family and friends.
