Ferry sinks in Myanmar, 10 die

YANGON: A ferry has sunk in the Irrawaddy Delta in Myanmar and 10 people have died. Three people are missing, but 72 have been rescued. State media reported that the Pathein Thu sank the previous day as it was about to dock at a jetty near the town of Ngapudaw. The reports said six people were hospitalised. The cause of the accident was being investigated. — AP
