Nancy among award recipients
Minister and seven others honoured with Datuk Seri title
KUANTAN: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Nancy Shukri is among those conferred the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award in conjunction with Pahang Ruler Sultan Ahmad Shah’s 86th birthday.
The award, which carries the title “Datuk Seri”, is also bestowed on the Deputy Prime Minister’s special adviser Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, Federal Court chief registrar Datin Latifah Mohd Tahar, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) Gombak professor of law Mohd Akram Shair Mohamed, Tasik Chini Research Centre head Datuk Prof Dr Mushrifah Idris, IIUM Gombak professor of electrical and computer engineering Datuk Seri Prof Dr Mashkuri Yaacob and Johor chief of police Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd.
The 28 recipients of the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP), which carries the title “Datuk”, include Kuala Lumpur High Court judicial commissioner Datuk Ab Karim Ab Rahman and the children of the Tengku Besar Pahang: Tengku Datuk Nurul Kamalia, Tengku Madina Kamalia, Tengku Madihah Shahzan Kamilah and Tengku Aidy Ahmad Shah.
There are 34 recipients of the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP), which carries the “Datuk” title.
Among them are Johor Baru High Court judge Teo Say Eng, Pahang Mentri Besar's political secretary Datuk Shamsuddin Nawawi, National Registration Department director-general Mohd Yazid Ramli, Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd vice-president Hamdan Salim and Petronas chief integrity officer Samsiah Abu Bakar.
A total of 126 individuals will receive the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which carries the title “Datuk”.
They include Global Movement of Moderates chief executive Dr Nasharudin Mat Isa, Khazanah Nasional Bhd executive director Mohamed Nasri Sallehuddin, Kuantan/Temerloh High Court judge Justice Tuan Hassan Abdul Ghani, Senator Norahan Abu Bakar, National Sports Institute chief executive officer Dr Mohd Khairi Zawi, Malaysian Ambassador to Turkey Abdul Razak Abdul Wahab, Customs Department Goods and Services Tax division director Tan Sim Kiat, Puteri Umno vice-chief Zahida Zarik Khan and Pahang MIC secretary M. Murugeh @ Murigaiah.
There are 41 recipients of the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang award, Setia Mahkota Pahang (66), Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (46), Ahli Mahkota Pahang (42), Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (57), Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (61) and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (106).
