-

A GROOM was killed by the family of the bride moments before the couple’s wedding ceremony at a temple in Tamil Nadu because they objected to the nuptials, Tamil Nesan reported.

The lovebirds had known each other for a few years and went ahead with their wedding plans despite objections from her family.

On the day of the wedding, the woman’s family entered the temple and attacked the groom and his father.

The groom died on the spot after being stabbed but his father survived. The woman was taken away by the group.

> Four youths were arrested for stealing a bull belonging to a cattle farmer in Port Dickson, Tamil dailies reported.

Farmer M. Manimaran, 38, was upset when his bull worth RM7,000 went missing several days ago.

Two days ago, the culprits were seen loading the cow on a lorry around midnight in a nearby town.
