> Ganja-laced biscuits are being peddled on Facebook by drug syndicates, Kosmo! reported.

These homemade products were being monitored by the police, said Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department director Datuk Rusli Ahmad.

“Apart from cannabis biscuits, cannabis-honey and soap are also being sold. Their method is to put cannabis into soap and honey containers to prevent detection by the authority,” he said.

The cannabis biscuits would be sent to the buyer via courier after payment is made, he added.

It is believed that the biscuits are sold between RM60 and RM100 per packet.

Shamshun Baharin said such incidents were “worrisome” as 55% of all those who were nabbed for corruption were aged 40 and below.
