Victim insulted man for not being able to pay

A 22-YEAR-OLD man from Wuhan, China, allegedly chopped off the head of a restaurant owner after the latter insulted him for not being able to pay for the meal, reported Guang Ming Daily.

The suspect questioned the victim for charging a high price after he ate three bowls of noodles at the restaurant on Saturday.

He became upset when the victim said he should not have eaten the noodles if he couldn’t afford it.

A fight ensued and eyewitness­es said the man grabbed a knife and chopped off the victim’s head. He then threw the head into a dustbin, the daily reported.

The actor, who turned 43 on Feb 13, had a birthday party with his friends including artistes Natalie Tong Sze Wing and Kevin Cheng Ka Wing in Hong Kong.

Tong posted a group photo of the party on Weibo but Wong was not seen there.

Recently, there was speculatio­n that Ma and Wong were dating after they were spotted going for a movie date.

> A group of senior citizens caused a minor commotion when they jostled and pushed each other just to get angpows at the Penang Chinese Town Hall.

One of them fell but he was not hurt at the function in George Town on Sunday morning.

It was an annual event for the Hall to distribute 650 angpows of RM15 each to senior citizens.

The daily reported that the group was late for the event but insisted on going in even though the registrati­on for the angpow had closed.

However, the organiser decided to allow them to join the event after they refused to leave.
