Have a fun-filled and empowering day at the WOW event today

PETALING JAYA: TODAY is the day! Come spend your Sunday by joining in the festivities at the WOW – Women do Wonders Talks and Bazaar at SEGi University Kota Damansara today.

The event – the culmination of Star Media Group’s almost monthlong women’s project partnered by AirAsia – will be held from 9.30am to 7pm. It promises a day of impact, entertainment, fun and food.

The women’s speciality bazaar, curated by Caring Moms, will feature some 100 handpicked vendors selling artisanal products, handcrafted keepsakes and homemade delicacies. There will also be stage performances – hip-hop, belly dancing and Latin dances, as well as a female Michael Jackson impersonator.

Whether you are looking to treat yourself, your family, or the women in your life, the bazaar promises something for everyone.

It will go on concurrently with talks by eight women trailblazers, such as AirAsia X Bhd chairman Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, AirAsia Bhd CEO Aireen Omar, and a showcase by Hong Kong veteran artiste Maria Cordero. If you are driving to the event, you can park at the university, or at Cova Square, the complex opposite the venue.

Meanwhile, if you are commuting via MRT, the Kota Damansara MRT station is right by the university’s back gate.

If you’re taking the LRT, stop at the Asia Jaya station and the RapidKL U88 bus will get you to the campus in Kota Damansara.
