Youth inspire
KNOW a young changemaker? Catch him or her in action through a picture-perfect shot and you may just win a five-day, four-night trip to South Korea, sponsored by The Star!
This year, Star-NiE’s annual contest is back with a brand new theme and concept, and more exciting prizes up for grabs.
Open to secondary school students (Forms One to Six), the MAD photojournalism contest wants participants to train their lens on youth (those aged between 13 and 25) who are making a difference in society.
In addition to promoting social awareness through the contest, Star-NiE wants to draw attention to the role and work of photojournalists. These are people who are quick on their feet and think out of the box to give us fresh perspectives through their lenses.
Five individual finalists will win the grand prize trip to South Korea, while 15 runners-up get a threeday, two-night holiday sponsored by Resorts World Genting. So give us your best shot!
To take part, look out for the contest template to be published in the Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) pullout on Wednesday (April 12).
