Jamal Abdillah ties knot for fourth time

Singer, 58, wed 23-year-old two months ago

-

“YES, I am,” replied popular singer Datuk Jamal Abdillah, 58, when asked about rumours that he tied the knot a fourth time, reported Harian Metro.

Contacted through WhatsApp, he refused to elaborate on the marriage.

“It is true that I’m married. That is quite enough. Don’t ask too much,” he told the paper.

According to a source, Jamal married a 23-year-old woman from Kulim, Kedah, about two months ago. The ceremony was only open to close family members.

Jamal denied that a thanksgiving ceremony at his home in Shah Alam last Sunday was in connection with the wedding.

“It’s a tahlil ceremony (prayers for the deceased) for my late parents and a doa selamat for the upcoming Ramadan, as well as for moving into a new house,” he said.

He divorced his third wife, Fatimatuzahra Samad, on May 15, 2007.

His first marriage was to Basariah Abdul Latiff in 1988 and he divorced her in 1996.

He then married Intan Noraina Mohd Yusof in 2001 and the couple had a boy, Osman Yamani.

Jamal has another child, from Fatimatuzahra, a boy named Ahmad Zaki Yamani.

> According to a report in Sinar Harian, the popular Malaysian dish nasi lemak has recently been transformed in an effort to further increase its popularity.

The trend began in January when nasi lemak ice cream was introduced in Kedah.

And just recently, nasi lemak biscuits are trending on social media, getting encouraging responses from the public.

One fan, Raini Portelipo, said she first saw the biscuits on Facebook and she bought one sometime in April.

“It tasted exactly like nasi lemak, with the creamy coconut taste and spicy sambal flavour. Every biscuit had anchovies and peanuts, just like the dish.

“I love eating the biscuit with a cup of hot coffee, I can finish a whole jar of them by myself,” she added.

The owner of Pettichef Cakes and Bakery, who makes the nasi lemak biscuits, Sharinatul Bahariah Baharun or better known as Chef Sherry, said she took about a year to develop the product.
